The house is a modern 4-bedroomed home built as a double-storey and nestles up against a hill giving a commanding 270 degree view of the Knysna lagoon, Heads and other surrounding areas (Brenton to the right, Simola to the left with Knysna town inbetween).
The house is painted with an Earthcote sand aggregate coating which requires little or no maintenance. All doorframes and windows are in white powder-coated aluminium. The house is approximately 10 years old, completely walled with automated wooden gates and established garden with lighting and waterfeatures (Northfacing back patio with waterfall-type feature and pond, and another smaller waterfeature at front entry).
All floor surfaces, including patios are under travertine marble with the exception of the bedrooms which are carpeted and the ensuite bathroom of the main bedroom is in large-format Italian tiles. All lagoon-facing rooms including lounges, diningroom and bedrooms have wide doors which open onto the patios.
